About Us

I'm Sam and I founded Golden Tales Travel in order to share my passion for travelling.

I first developed his love of travel as a young teenager while on a trip of a lifetime, with his family, to Vietnam.  Visiting spectacular sites as well as meeting the friendly locals left me with precious memories as well as a lifelong love of travel, particularly within Southeast Asia where I have returned again and again.

I believe the most rewarding way to travel is by immersing yourself within the local culture in order to see the real country and meet the real people. This principle is at the heart of what I do. I work alongside local guides, operators, hotels, resorts, eco-lodges, homestays, transport providers and many more to reveal the true character of your destination and provide you with experiences you will never forget.

Responsible travel is another core values as I continue to create strong relationships in destinations to positively impact the communities and benefit the lives of the locals. Travelling responsibly is a principle that allows us to continue doing what we love whilst also benefitting the places we love to visit.
